FX Relationship Manager

Primary Purpose: What The Role Is:

Cadence Bank is seeking an exceptional FX Relationship Manager to join its Foreign Exchange Trading team. Reporting to the Director of Foreign Exchange, this key member of the team will have primary responsibility to trade, price and distribute a diverse range of FX products and research to bank clients. The role will require developing and maintaining client relationships, providing daily FX coverage, academic research, innovative e-FX solutions, and competitive pricing and execution across G10 and EM. Due to the role requirements, this job will be performed primarily at the FX Trading Desk in Houston, Texas, but will require minimum travel of 30% throughout our US regional footprint. This is not a remote position.

How You will Make an Impact

Manage and grow a portfolio of FX relationships with a focus on corporate and middle-market clients.

Prospect new clients and grow the existing franchise by leveraging Cadence Bank's liquidity, research, and technology tools.

Achieve goals regarding client acquisition, volume of business, and cross-selling various lines of business.

Collaborate with Wall Street counterparties to deliver differentiated macro thought leadership.

Assume responsibility for new business initiatives including working with internal teams on corporate-wide initiatives.

Pursue risk excellence including adhering to procedures, regulations and credit limits.

Leverage e-FX technology and data to drive effective business growth and trading volumes.

Innate passion for staying up to date on current market events and global economics

Who You Are

Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance; MBA or CFA Charter is preferable

Public speaking on global economics is a plus

Proven track record of +5-years on a bank FX trading desk

Strong technical background with a working knowledge of markets and related analytics

High-level understanding of foreign exchange and interest rate markets

Exceptional MS Excel (VBA/SQL programming) and Bloomberg skills

Education: Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance; MBA or CFA Charter is preferable

Experience: +5 years in a bank FX Trading & Sales position
