Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health concerns, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans that promote effective recovery and growth.

• Provide teletherapy options to clients, ensuring accessible mental health care for those preferring virtual sessions due to personal preference or logistical challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse group of clients, including those experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Our approach emphasizes meeting individuals where they are in their journey, offering support tailored to their specific histories and personal contexts. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid mental health license in the state of New York, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• A compassionate and empathetic demeanor, coupled with a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and struggles.

• Proficient organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a caseload while attending to administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, especially in private practice settings, is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Experience providing teletherapy is an advantage, as many of our clients prefer virtual sessions.
