Project ManagerRequired Skills & Experience-7+ years of experience managing Workday technology projects, including responsibility for complex, cross-functional, or enterprise-level initiatives. Experience within Workday Benefits, specifically a migration project(s). Demonstrated experience managing projects with multiple technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, budgets, risks, and dependencies. Experience delivering projects for professional services, financial services, legal services, or another complex global organization is beneficial. Ability to understand complex technical information and communicate its business impact to non-technical stakeholders. Strong executive communication, presentation, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to influence outcomes, resolve conflict, facilitate decisions, and maintain accountability without direct authority. Strong judgment and the ability to identify delivery concerns, evaluate alternatives, and recommend practical solutions. Experience working with global and geographically distributed teams. Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.Job DescriptionThe Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of a Workday Benefits project, representing a "customer side" perspective when dealing with an implementation partner, benefits providers, and the wider HRIS community – including product owner, solution architect, and BAU teams. The Project Manager provides structured leadership across the full project lifecycle, ensuring that project objectives, scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies are effectively managed. This position works closely with business sponsors, technology leaders, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into executable project plans and measurable outcomes. The project is due to start in October 2026 and to run until August 2027. Reporting to the Associate Director, HRIS (in London), the Project Manager will work and interact with teams based in the US and in EMEA. While the larger team is located in London, the project sponsor and director are both New York-based and this role will need to work with them on a regular basis. This is a hybrid role (mostly remote with an expectation of occasional days spent at the New York office). After an initial implementation of Workday (Core, Recruitment, Absences), the team has moved to the implementation of further Workday features (Performance, Learning). Benefits is currently in Phase 3 and will involve the rollout of the functionality in the US but also in key foreign markets (Germany, UK, Singapore, Philippines, Australia, etc.). A large number (close to 50) of vendors and potential interfaces is expected. Close attention to the End-to-End testing and cutover planning is therefore a must. While heavily focused on the rollout of Workday, a key deliverable of the project is also moving away from the current benefits integrators and providing a single user experience. This is driven by contractual deadlines and will require a tight management of the implementation timeline. As such, managing this contract transition and the associated change management are also very much in the remit of this role. Beyond the experience of delivering Workday Benefits in an international environment and with a complex integration landscape, this role also requires a keen understanding of balancing technical needs with functional objectives, managing senior stakeholders in multiple locations, holding the implementation partner accountable to the strict timelines, and quickly identifying potential risks and issues to a successful delivery.
