Assistant Project Manager

#Eng-IT-01 Position Responsibilities Support project management during the design phase by overseeing design consultants and ensuring compliance with contract documents. Assist in inspections and quality control/assurance activities through project closeout. Collaborate with the Resident Engineer and support project coordination by attending meetings and following up on action items. Monitor job site safety and prepare necessary reports and documentation. Assist with project budgets, schedules, and construction activities. Report directly to the Senior Director of Project Management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, or an Associate's degree in Engineering. Minimum four years of project management experience, including supervisory experience on large construction projects. 30-hour OSHA Certification and 8-hour Lead Awareness Course required. Completion of one-day Client Track Safety Training before participating in projects. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel. Experience with CADD is desirable. Knowledge of capital construction procedures and field operations. Experience with construction scheduling and estimating. Work Schedule Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch). 50% technical and 50% administrative responsibilities. 80% field and 20% office work.
