The position offers a remote work setting, enabling therapists to connect with clients in a comfortable and flexible manner. Working Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., our therapists enjoy a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. As part of a larger therapeutic team, you will participate in regular virtual meetings and case consultations, allowing for ongoing professional support and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological evaluations to assess the severity and impact of mood disorders and relationship dynamics.

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and families on mood disorders and provide resources for self-care and coping strategies.
\n
• Monitor client progress consistently, adjusting treatment interventions as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed of the latest research in mood disorder interventions and therapy techniques to continuously enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in accordance with all legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.

• Engage in case consultations and actively participate in ongoing professional development to hone therapeutic skills.

• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigmas and ensuring their needs are met within the treatment process.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Carson Counseling Center, you will primarily work with diverse clients facing challenges related to relationships, marriage conflicts, divorce, and other family dynamics. Your expertise will provide crucial support to those requiring specialized interventions for both individual and familial healing.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Experience in one or more therapeutic modalities such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, systems therapy, narrative therapy, or communication therapy is highly desirable.

• Previous experience working in outpatient settings or a remote therapeutic environment is a plus.
