Fabrication Supervisor

This role is integral to launching the production output necessary for our aluminum gear hinge product line specifically. This role requires excellent communication and mechanical skills necessary for effective scheduling of staff and machines, along with troubleshooting and properly maintaining departmental equipment. Responsibilities Perform safety audits in conjunction with established Safety Protoco Advanced knowledge in the departmental process and equipmen Learn, operate, and troubleshoot fabrication and anodizing equipmen Provide day‑to‑day technical advice, problem solving, and support operations and maintenanc Assist the maintenance department in the creation and improvement of preventive maintenance task Production control for the departmen Establish the team’s daily schedule to maximize productivity while adhering to quality standard Communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments for overall executio Ensure accurate log is kept for all department productio Ensure finished goods are within established quality control protoco Record and resolve quality control issues, develop, and communicate resolutions to team member Actively participate, collaborate and support in maintenance along with established maintenance schedul Create and maintain an accurate inventory of all required consumables, chemicals, tooling, PPE gear, et Develop and maintain a good relationship with external vendor Train and mentor team member Develop and implement new SOP Incident Reports, as neede Lead visitor tours in the department when visitors com Must Have Advanced understanding of the fabrication and anodizing process and equipmen Advanced understanding of material handlin ABH certification for forklift driving – both sit down and stand u Superior organizational skill Education and Experience Minimum of 3 years in Operations, Engineering, or related field in Manufactu ringProven experience in leading and managing teams, preferably in a technology-focused environm ent.Efficient and Proficient in Lean Manufacturing Pract icesExperience developing, reviewing, and approving new S #J-18808-Ljbffr ABH Manufacturing Inc.
