Accounting Manager- Non Profit

Kforce has an NFP Community Organization that is seeking an Accounting Manager in NYC. Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of monthly financial reporting & month-end close, ensuring compliance to grant funding activities
- Accounting Manager will prepare program budgets and provide variance analysis reports
- Provide supporting documentation to the CPA firm for audit and tax filing compliance(s)
- Supervise & mentor corporate accounting staff
- Handle complex and hi-volume intercompany transactions & reconciliations
- As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee the payment & processing of AP
- Reconcile AR accounts and provide cash-flow reports to management on a daily/weekly basis
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 6+ years of accounting experience
- 3+ years of staff management experience
- Public/Private Accounting experience is highly desired
- NFP, Not For Profit- Multi-entity accounting experience
