Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to create a balanced work-life environment while being part of a supportive network of mental health professionals. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility to accommodate client needs and consultation schedules. You will engage with clients using secure teletherapy platforms, ensuring confidentiality and convenience for both the therapist and the client.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, therapeutic goals, and personal preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to best suit each client’s unique circumstances.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, potential treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, updating treatment plans in response to their evolving needs and feedback.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to foster integrated care approaches that address both psychological and physical health.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments related to mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies and client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential treatment records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at our clinic, you will primarily work with clients facing mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and related issues. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in helping clients navigate their struggles, as you provide a safe environment for them to express their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
