THE OPPORTUNITY: Influencer Relations Manager (Parental Leave Temp Contract)

REPORTS TO: Director of Brand Marketing

LOCATION: US - Remote

LENGTH : 4 months

Headquartered in Los Angeles, CA with an office in New York, NY, Birdy Grey supports remote work for eligible roles.

Birdy Grey is looking for ahighly organized, detail-oriented Influencer Relations Manager to join our Brand team for a parental leave coverage of 4 months. The Influencer Relations Associate will be responsible for discovering bride-to-be and lifestyle influencers and cultivating those relationships with key partners. They will oversee the discovery, outreach, end-to-end relationship management, gifting, and influencer fittings for the brand. This person will maintain the day-to-day management of our influencer partnerships to drive brand awareness/equity, support new product launches, and help grow the share of voice in social media through strategic influencer collaborations.

This role requires the ability to understand our brand and make strategic decisions while providing creative solutions. The Influencer Relations Manager temp must have strong people and communication skills in order to represent our brand, while also being extremely focused on details and organized with the ability to move quickly and efficiently. The role will work cross-functionally and communicate with internal teams such as Creative, Digital Marketing, and CX as well as external partners on campaign efforts.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Influencer & ambassador program

• Run day-to-day influencer and ambassador activity across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube — inbound, sourcing, and negotiation
• Point of Contact for the Club Birdy ambassador program including briefing the team on content we need and the challenges they should run, collecting all content and making sure it is shared with paid Marketing (Mary).
• Keep our active influencer roster (paid and gifted) warm
• Track promo code performance

Paid partnerships — the 2027 roster

• Source, negotiate, and sign 2027 paid partnerships against a pre-set budget and term sheet
• Prioritize creators with spring, summer and Fall 2027 wedding dates.
• Own contracting end to end: rates, deliverables, usage rights, and ad code windows
• Escalate anything above the approval threshold to Anthony

Team & gifting

• Act as manager of record for our Social & Influencer Coordinator, who runs gifted influencer collaborations day to day
• Touch base with Social & Influencer Coordinator weekly
• Approve gifting spend up to an agreed cap, and unblock decisions quickly
• Give real direction and feedback

Reporting

• Build and present the bi-weekly Influencer Sync from Sprout Social and Looker exports (template provided)
• Flag performance anomalies, standout creators, and re-engagement opportunities to the team

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE: QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree Required

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or talent relations, ideally at a DTC or consumer brand
• You have negotiated and signed creator contracts on your own authority, and you know what a fair rate looks like at a given follower count and engagement rate
• Comfortable managing someone and giving directional and honest feedback
• Fluent in Instagram and TikTok as marketing channels, not just as a user
• You read performance data and act on it — promo code revenue, engagement rate, EMV
• Extremely organized, details oriented and reliable; comfortable juggling several small tasks at once without letting things slip
• Organized enough to inherit a live pipeline in three weeks and not drop anything
• Available to start by early November 2026 for training overlap
• Excited about AI and actively leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Copilot) to accelerate your own work and identify opportunities to embed AI-driven automation across operations
• Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data deep dives to surface actionable insights.
• Proactive problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot and/or escalate issues effectively.
• Hard working and willing to roll sleeves up - no job is too big or too small.
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, fluid environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity and take initiative to lead projects.
