Customer Service Representative Data And Customer Service | Non-Exempt Lakewood Church is seeking a caring, dependable, and service-minded Customer Service Representative to support constituents of Lakewood Church and Joel Osteen Ministries. In this role, you'll assist constituents by phone, email, and mail, respond to inquiries about church events, support order and donation-related requests, provide prayer support as needed, and ensure clear and professional communication throughout each interaction. This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in finding solutions, and can remain courteous, accurate, and focused in a high-volume customer service environment. Work Schedule Standard 35-hour work week Monday through Thursday in the office Optional work-from-home Fridays What You'll Do Working directly with the Customer Service Manager, you'll provide timely and effective support to Lakewood Church and Joel Osteen Ministries constituents. Customer Support & Problem Resolution Respond to customer questions and concerns by telephone and email Provide timely and effective resolution of customer concerns Follow up on customer requests and return customer calls as needed Assist customers with website questions, Champion Codes, File Numbers, special promotions, and other requested information Maintain polite, courteous, helpful, and professional communication throughout every interaction Represent Lakewood Church positively and professionally in all customer interactions and correspondence Orders, Returns & Account Support Assist customers with placing orders and updating or changing order information Update customer contact information as needed Prepare Audit Gift Request Statements when requested Prepare refund and return requests Maintain accurate customer and account information Support customer requests with careful attention to detail and data accuracy Products & Promotions Maintain knowledge of new products and current promotional offers Provide customers with accurate information regarding products, promotions, and available services Conduct outbound customer calls as directed by the Supervisor Quality & Productivity Perform accurate alpha and numeric data entry Maintain attention to detail while working in a high-production, quality-focused environment Manage multiple customer requests and responsibilities effectively Demonstrate strong time-management skills Maintain compliance with the assigned work schedule Qualifications Successful candidates will demonstrate: An uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church's vision, values, and core beliefs A heart for helping people and resolving customer concerns Strong customer service and problem-resolution skills The ability to address challenging issues professionally and effectively Polite, courteous, and helpful phone manners Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong alpha and numeric data-entry skills Excellent data-entry accuracy and attention to detail The ability to work effectively in a high-production, quality-focused environment The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Effective time-management skills Experience working with databases Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Education & Experience: Minimum two years of customer service and data-entry experience High School Diploma (required) Some college (preferred) Our Mission As a member of the Lakewood Church team, you play an important role in helping fulfill our mission of bringing hope through Jesus Christ to people around the world.
