Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings and create tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate seamlessly with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to improve patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, discharge procedures, and home exercise plans
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress according to facility guidelines and regulatory standards
• Participate in team consultations and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure holistic care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications in areas such as neurology or geriatrics are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous clinical experience is highly preferred
