Now hiring food expeditors at Down on Grayson in the Pearl District! We are looking for friendly food expeditors to ensure a smooth flow between the front of the house and the back of the house. The food expeditor sets the pace and flow of the kitchen to ensure that all dishes are properly prepared.

In the heart of San Antonio's vibrant Pearl District, Down on Grayson is a casual modern-American dining spot nestled in Tobin Hill just steps from the Pearl. Refined but not pretentious, our menu offers chic updates on old favorites like crispy Brussels and a butter-topped Filet.

Our indoor dining room is a beautifully bright space with plenty of floor-to-ceiling windows. Often voted the best in town, our dog-friendly outdoor patio is one of the largest, most Instagrammed patios in the area, known for our signature black and white umbrellas.

What you will do

• Assist in the final preparation of dishes before delivery for accuracy, quality, presentation, and temperature
• Ensure efficient flow between the kitchen and servers

What you bring - minimum qualifications

Must be 18 years old or older

Must have or be able to obtain a valid and current Food Handlers certification

Must be able to work at least 3 days a week, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Physical requirements and working conditions

Must be able to stand and walk for 6 or more hours in a day

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and over 50 lbs. with assistance

Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, squatting, climbing, and walking

Exposure to loud noise, large crowds, and extreme hot/cold temperatures
