RN – PACU | Travel Assignment | Morgantown, WV

Join a prestigious teaching hospital and one of the region's leading academic medical centers ! We're seeking experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurses to care for adult and pediatric surgical patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity perioperative environment.

• Rotating Schedule (Primarily Monday–Friday Days)
• 8, 10, or 12-Hour Shifts
• 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Requirements

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
• Level I Trauma PACU experience preferred
• Recent EPIC experience preferred
• Comfortable recovering both adult and pediatric patients
• Experience with ventilated patients and advanced airway management preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia recovery care
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments following surgery
• Monitor airway, respiratory, and cardiovascular status
• Manage pain control and post-operative recovery
• Recover ICU patients when required
• Administer medications and monitor for anesthesia-related complications
• Float within Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II recovery areas as needed

• Driver's license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
