As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.27 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri02:45 PM - 10:45 PMSat02:45 PM - 10:45 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs in accordance with site-specific requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, office areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions. Support protection of sensitive business operations and restricted areas by following established access-control, reporting and incident-escalation procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance. A guard card or license is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
