Senior BI Analyst — Finance, AI Enabled

Intuitive Surgical

Senior BI Analyst role supporting Finance reporting and analytics at an enterprise scale. The position bridges business and technical teams to design dashboards, optimize data models, and deliver self-service analytics solutions using modern BI platforms and SQL-driven analysis.

Responsibilities

Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications and BI data models
Design, build, and maintain Finance dashboards, published data sources, and self-service analytics in enterprise BI platforms
Perform end-to-end data lineage analysis, reconciliation, and root-cause investigation across ERP and reporting systems using SQL
Lead workstreams through requirements, solution design, UAT, testing, and implementation readiness with stakeholder sign-off
Support automated monitoring, data-quality controls, and governance of financially significant reporting processes

Requirements

7+ years of business intelligence, Finance analytics, or enterprise data solutions experience
Expert-level SQL skills for complex querying, reconciliation, and performance optimization
Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or comparable enterprise BI platforms
ERP platform knowledge, preferably SAP, including Finance process and data flow understanding
Data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and semantic layer fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to lead UAT, testing, and business-readiness activities
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field
