The ideal candidate is patient-focused, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working as part of a team to provide excellent patient care.Responsibilities:* Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories* Prepare patients for examinations and procedures* Assist providers with exams and in-office procedures* Administer medications and injections as directed* Perform EKGs and other clinical duties as needed* Collect and prepare specimens* Complete accurate documentation in the electronic medical record* Assist with patient calls, messages, and follow-up* Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked exam rooms* Monitor and maintain clinical supplies* Follow HIPAA, infection control, and safety guidelines* Provide professional and compassionate patient care* Work closely with providers and office staff to ensure efficient daily operations* Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:* Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred* Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred* CPR/BLS certification preferred* Strong communication and organizational skills* Excellent patient service skills* Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy medical office* Professional, dependable, and team-oriented* Strong attention to detail* Experience with electronic medical records is a plusWhat We Offer:* Competitive pay* Benefits for eligible employees* Supportive team environment* Opportunities for growth and advancement* The opportunity to become part of the Coastal Health familyIf you are a caring and dependable Medical Assistant who enjoys working with patients and wants to grow with a great healthcare team, we would love to hear from you!Apply today and join the Coastal Health family!## QualificationsMinimum 1-3 years experience in the medical field preferred.
