Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and tailor individualized therapy plans for clients, ensuring each therapeutic approach is suited to their unique circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to high-quality patient care.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within the community health clinic to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional training and development to remain updated on advancements in mental health therapies and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCPC will provide support to a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics issues, and substance misuse challenges. Counselors will have the opportunity to work with clients from various backgrounds in an inclusive environment, helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Possession of valid, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• Minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, ideally within a clinical and community health setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards related to counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
