The Role: Key Responsibilities Partnership Accounting & Reporting Own the quarterly and annual accounting, financial reporting, and close processes for assigned co-investment partnerships. Prepare and review financial statements, supporting schedules, and investor reporting packages. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all partnership accounting activities. Investment Operations Oversight Oversee and review daily transactional activity across investment portfolios, including capital calls, distributions, investment funding, and related cash activity. Identify and resolve accounting and operational issues while maintaining strong internal controls and escalating concerns when appropriate. Monitor portfolio activity to ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting. Tax & Compliance Prepare and review annual tax-basis books and records. Track and analyze Schedule K-1 activity and coordinate with internal and external tax advisors. Support tax reporting requirements, withholding analyses, and related compliance matters. Treasury & Fund Administration Manage cash management and treasury-related activities for assigned partnerships. Oversee capital activity, custody management, cash and stock distributions, and monthly cash reconciliations. Support capital account maintenance and investor-level reporting. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with investment professionals, finance teams, and senior stakeholders to support reporting, operational, and strategic initiatives. Collaborate across departments to enhance processes, controls, and the overall co-investment platform. Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed. Process Improvement Contribute to process enhancement, documentation, and systems implementation initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and operational effectiveness across the platform. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience within investment management, private equity, hedge funds, fund administration, or public accounting. Exposure to partnership accounting, investment partnerships, and fund structures. Experience with tax reporting, partnership allocations, and K-1 reporting preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles and investment operations. Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization.
