Our pharmacy team plays a central role in patient safety, clinical decision support, and hospital operations. We are seeking a dedicated Hospital Pharmacist to join our team and serve as a trusted clinical partner across all departments. Position Overview The Hospital Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care, oversees medication management, and supports clinical teams throughout the facility. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a rural environment, values autonomy, and enjoys being deeply embedded in patient care. Key Responsibilities Medication Management — Dispense, verify, and monitor medications for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. Clinical Support — Provide dosing guidance, therapeutic drug monitoring, antimicrobial stewardship, and consultative support to providers. Regulatory Compliance — Maintain compliance with state/federal regulations, USP standards, and hospital policies. Medication Safety — Lead initiatives to reduce medication errors and improve patient outcomes. Interdisciplinary Collaboration — Partner with nursing, providers, and ancillary teams to support evidence-based care. Inventory Oversight — Manage formulary, shortages, vendor relationships, and controlled substance accountability. Patient & Staff Education — Provide medication counseling and support staff training on new therapies and protocols.
