Food & Beverage Floor Manager

A high-volume, upscale restaurant group in New York City is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Floor Manager to oversee daily front-of-house restaurant and beverage operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and is committed to delivering polished, attentive guest service while supporting and developing a strong team.

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience

• Lead daily floor operations across restaurant and beverage service periods.
• Maintain exceptional service, presentation, cleanliness, and guest-recovery standards.
• Coach, support, and hold front-of-house team members accountable.
• Partner with culinary, beverage, and management teams to ensure seamless service.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, pre-shift meetings, inventory, labor management, and operational reporting.
• Address guest feedback and operational issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and responsible alcohol-service standards.

• Prior supervisory or management experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant, hotel, nightlife, or hospitality environment.
• Strong floor presence, communication skills, and ability to lead diverse teams.
• Excellent judgment, professionalism, organization, and guest-service instincts.
• Working knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and service standards is strongly preferred.
• NYC Food Protection Certificate and/or TIPS certification is a plus.

Schedule flexibility is essential. This position requires a combination of morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as business needs require.

• Morning shifts may begin as early as 6:30 AM .
• Evening shifts may run as late as 2:00–3:00 AM .
