Our customer in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Sand Blasters to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Sand Blaster, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing surfaces using sandblasting equipment.

Responsibilities of the Sand Blaster:

• Use sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces of metal, wood, or other materials
• Set up and operate sandblasting machines, adjusting pressure and material flow as needed
• Select appropriate abrasive materials based on the surface and desired finish
• Inspect surfaces before and after sandblasting to ensure quality and identify any defects
• Follow all safety procedures, including wearing protective gear and ensuring proper ventilation in work areas
• Perform routine maintenance on sandblasting equipment, including cleaning and replacing parts as necessary

Sand Blaster Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sandblasting or a related field preferred

Pay for Sand Blaster:

$17.00 per hour.
