Job Description Accounts Receivable Specialist (AR | Credit & Collections) Employment Type - 2-3 Month Contract Pay Range: $21.00-$25.00 per hour Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI Overview Keep the cash flowing and the customer relationships strong. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate collection activity records, following up on past-due accounts, and helping resolve payment issues efficiently and professionally. This position is ideal for someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing customer communication with precise documentation and reporting. Required Skills Experience in credit and collections / Accounts Receivable Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer outreach and follow-up High level of organization and attention to detail Ability and desire to multi-task and manage competing priorities Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality Nice to Have Skills Knowledge of ERP systems Experience processing return credits Experience resolving dispute claims, short payments, and fines with customers Familiarity with referring accounts to collection agencies Preferred Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent (required) Certifications and/or training in a related field (a plus) Previous AR experience preferred Other Requirements Ability to maintain accurate accounting records, including document copying and filing Comfort communicating directly with customers to request payment and support timely resolution About Trova Advisory Group Trova Advisory Group specializes in delivering a comprehensive array of staffing solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of businesses across multiple sectors.
