Role Description This program provides IT services focused on building, securing, and operating the Department of Veteran Affairs LGY’s home loan product-line technology. The contract’s purpose is to modernize and sustain critical home loan technology systems that support LGY’s delivery of mortgage-related services to program stakeholders, to provide continuous delivery and security integration. The Salesforce Developer will support the design, build, and maintenance of Salesforce features for the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Loan Guaranty Service (LGY). This role will be hands-on with: Salesforce object mapping defects Validating Apex callouts and Named Credentials Implementing hotfixes Validating permission set configurations Monitoring Salesforce debug logs Assisting in production deployments This role supports both ongoing sustainment and incremental enhancements to an existing enterprise Salesforce implementation, requiring strong judgment, code quality, and the ability to work within established architectural and compliance constraints. Develop custom Salesforce applications, components, and integrations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and API services. Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Implement complex business logic, workflows, triggers, and automation. Build and maintain secure, scalable integrations with external systems. Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices and federal security and compliance standards. Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and release management. Maintain documentation, technical designs, and deployment procedures. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions. Qualifications Education
