Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing protocols and policies
• Monitor residents’ conditions, record vital signs, and report changes promptly to the care team
• Assist with activities of daily living, including mobility, hygiene, feeding, and personal care
• Collaborate with licensed staff and other disciplines to update and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in residents’ records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Apply infection control practices and maintain a safe, clean, and patient-focused environment

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (in good standing)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
• Ability to work a 3x12-hour shift schedule (6:00–18:30)
• Strong communication and documentation skills; able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
