Position Title Part-Time FRENCH Instructor (Applicant Pool) Department Humanities Department, Perimeter College Position Type Full Time Faculty Position Description Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in FRENCH who will play a key role in educating and supporting students. Required Education To qualify to teach FRENCH, applicants must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in French with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in the teaching discipline or a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in relevant French coursework. Preferred Qualifications and Experience Previous teaching experience, including online instruction, is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to teach FRENCH at the collegiate level Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods Ability to relate to students and facilitate student learning Effective communication skills Excellent organizational and teaching skills Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology Licenses, Certifications, Registrations None Specified. Pre-Employment Requirements A criminal background check is required. Work Hours Position may require non-standard hours (including day, evening, online or hybrid, weekend, and/or other campus locations). Salary $3,075 for each 3 credit hour course taught.
