Environmental Test Manager

Overview We’re supporting a rapidly growing aerospace organisation seeking an Environmental Test Manager to lead environmental test operations supporting development and production hardware. Location: Southern California (Onsite) This role is responsible for overseeing environmental test laboratories, driving operational excellence and scaling test capabilities to support aggressive production and development schedules. Responsibilities Lead environmental test operations across vibration, shock and thermal testing activities Manage technicians, specialists and test schedules Drive test readiness, asset utilisation and throughput improvements Support qualification and acceptance testing programmes Partner with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams Develop processes, procedures and capacity planning strategies Support future growth and expansion of test facilities Requirements Leadership experience within environmental testing, aerospace manufacturing or high-reliability hardware environments Strong understanding of vibration, shock and thermal testing Experience managing test operations, laboratories or technical teams Background supporting qualification and acceptance testing Strong organisational and cross‑functional leadership skills Ideal Backgrounds Aerospace Spacecraft Satellite manufacturing Defense hardware Environmental test service providers Flight hardware qualification environments What We’re Looking For A hands‑on leader who can balance technical understanding with operational execution while helping scale a growing environmental test organisation. #J-18808-Ljbffr EVONA
