Databricks Engineer

Job Title: Databricks Engineer (AI/ML)
Location: Louisville, KY
Duration: Long Term
Pay rate: $55-$60/hr

Job Summary:

• We are looking for a skilled Databricks Engineer with strong experience in AI/ML and machine learning.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, developing ML models, and working closely with data and engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Databricks
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data
• Build, train, and deploy machine learning models
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to implement AI/ML solutions
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Optimize performance and scalability of data workflows
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
• Proficiency in Python (PySpark) and SQL
• Hands-on experience in Machine Learning and AI concepts
• Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
• Knowledge of data engineering and ETL processes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Good to Have:

• Experience with MLOps and model deployment
• Knowledge of Delta Lake and data warehousing concepts
• Understanding of data pipelines orchestration tools
