Freelance Project ManagerWe are looking for a Freelance Project Manager to join our team and work across key accounts – bringing with them extensive experience in delivering varied types of program deliverables and content for distribution across digital and social, with an enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.ResponsibilitiesTaking ownership of projects and see them through to completionManaging work across various channels, including social and editorial content, influencer work, events, video etc.Creating timelines, booking and managing resources and ensuring that agency resources are used efficientlyScoping jobs and writing statements of workManaging budgets and reconciling each phase of the jobEnsuring all work is signed off at the right stages, by the right people; both internal sign-off, and client approvalsEnsure that all project team members also complete their timesheets in a timely fashion, ensuring accurate project actualsTrack account health. This includes monitoring project progress, burn rate, budget management, third party and freelance team management and developing plans to course correct the team as needed.Requirements for this roleBachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.3+ years of experience in project management or a related field, with a focus on operations, team management and project planning.Experience with a wide variety of marketing and content deliverable typesFamiliar with agency turn-around times and ways of working, good understanding of the dynamics of agency processes, and enjoy the pace and challenges this bringsProactive and good at foreseeing problems, with the ability to mitigate issues as soon as they are identified, propose creative solutions, and know when to escalate issuesDetail oriented and takes responsibility for fulfilling all components of the project/retainer deliverablesConfident and positive with a 'can-do' attitudeExtremely strong communication skills, both written and verbalOrganized with good attention to detailStrong understanding and experience in managing project financialsHighly proficient with Google Suite (Gmail, Doc, Slides, Sheets, Drive, Meet, Chat, Gemini) and Slack.
