Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (State or reciprocal)
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Prior experience working with special needs students in a school setting
• Proficient in IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Strong understanding of IDEA, 504 plans, and federal/state education regulations
• Capable communicator, collaborative team player, and organized case manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver differentiated instruction tailored to diverse student needs
• Develop, review, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all special education laws and procedures
• Serve as a case manager, working collaboratively with general education teachers, therapists, administrators, and families
• Monitor student progress, adapting strategies to maximize learning growth
• Contribute to professional development and collaborative planning sessions
