On-call requirements. Job Summary Why YOU should be our next Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). Magnet Designated with Distinction – one of only two hospitals in Massachusetts. First in Massachusetts to use Black Box technology. 16 ORs. Approximately 1,000 cases per month. Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures. Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities. Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred. Must present and submit Certification of Graduation from an ARC/STSA-Accredited Surgical Technology Program or NBSTSA Certification. Staff must adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards. Basic computer skills.
