Sales Representative, Industrial

Job Description Sales Representative, Industrial – Maintain and develop customer and prospect relationships in an assigned territory to increase revenues. Communicate key market conditions, opportunities, and threats to management, and recommend plans to respond appropriately. Collaborate with operations and other staff to exceed expectations of customers, suppliers, and co‑workers in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values, including active participation in safety programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct pricing and quoting to meet profit objectives. Meet or exceed rental sales and revenue objectives in the assigned region. Execute sales strategies and build strong customer relationships. Create solutions to close clients’ irrigation and liquid handling challenges, including pumps, tanks, filtration, and spill containment. Promote market awareness, close deals, and increase new and repeat customer business. Expand top ten customer relationships and revenues through regular face‑to‑face sales calls. Promote, pursue, and consummate new and repeat business for sales and rentals. Participate in business development opportunities such as trade shows, presentations, and industry events. Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers while managing travel expenses. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all products, applications, pricing, terms, sales and credit policies, and promotional aids. Detail terms and conditions of each quote to satisfy the customer and limit company exposure and risk. Prepare concise written orders and estimates for sales, rentals, and leases, including delivery dates. Promote full‑service solutions: design, installation, service, and operation. Coordinate with other branch personnel regarding product availability, delivery, and job specifics. Prepare written reports and records required by management in a timely manner. Maintain customer database using computer software. Promote cooperation and good communication across branch and corporate personnel. Actively participate in the company’s safety culture. Know and practice the company’s value proposition. General knowledge of hydraulics, pumping, irrigation system design, water handling products, and the ability to sell multiple product lines. Minimum of three years of related sales experience.
