Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential support as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive school environment near Ypsilanti, MI. This rewarding, contract-based opportunity begins in August and is intended to run through December, with the possibility of extending until the end of the school year in June. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification with special education endorsement
• Experience working in a K–12 special education setting
• Firm knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance requirements

• Strong organizational skills and a growth mindset
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction and interventions tailored to student goals
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
