TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Cartersville, Georgia, 30120!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - Patient ratios experienced - Charting system experience preferred Description: UNIT DETAILS: Weekend shifts are required every other week. No on-call requirements. Floating within the facility/scope of practice as needed. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Once a candidate has signed and confirmation is sent, the manager has 48 hours to review the profile and determine if the unit, schedule, and expertise fit. The maximum request time off is 7 days. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the placement may be pushed back 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedules. Local candidates are accepted. Candidate requirements include the ability to manage feeding tubes, heparin, isolation precautions, telemetry, PCA, wound care, and various airway management protocols. Patient demographics primarily include adults and geriatrics. The unit operates with a daily census of approximately 20 patients and has 20 beds available. Candidates should be prepared to float within the facility and perform clinical duties as outlined. All compliance documents must be submitted in a timely manner, with core items/labs completed post-contract signing.
