Human Resources Business Partner

Summary Since 2022, Associated Materials / Alside has been undergoing a transformation to maximize our potential through investments in people, operations, and brands. We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team at Associated Materials! The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to management and employees, driving HR initiatives that support the company's goals and enhance overall employee experience. This role involves a mix of strategic HR planning, employee relations, talent management, and day-to-day HR operations tailored to a dynamic distribution environment. Objectives Align HR Strategies with Business Goals Enhance Employee Engagement and Retention Support Leadership and Employee Development Drive Performance Management Manage Employee Relations Ensure Compliance and Mitigate Risk Provide Data-Driven HR Insights Foster a Culture of Diversity and Inclusion Day-to-day Responsibilities Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives, particularly in areas such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention. Provide guidance to help structure teams and roles effectively to meet business needs and improve efficiency. Support career development initiatives, including performance management processes, succession planning, and employee development programs. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner. Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances, ensuring that all cases are handled with confidentiality and in compliance with company policies. Coach managers and supervisors on effective employee management, including performance improvement, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Manage the performance review process, ensuring consistency and alignment with company goals and objectives. Work with managers to identify performance gaps and develop action plans to address them, including training and development opportunities. Foster a culture of continuous feedback and professional growth, encouraging regular check-ins and career discussions between employees and managers. Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records, including payroll, benefits, and compliance documentation. Champion a positive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values and promotes teamwork, integrity, and respect. Lead employee engagement initiatives to improve job satisfaction, reduce turnover, and enhance overall employee morale. Education And Experience BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 5+ years of HR experience, with a strong emphasis on employee relations in a distribution setting. Proven experience conducting investigations and managing complex employee relations cases with a focus on fair and timely resolution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
