Chief Financial Officer Location: Deerfield Beach, FL Compensation: $250,000-$350,000/annually + Bonus Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a growing organization and serve as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team. This individual will lead the company's financial strategy while remaining engaged in the day-to-day operations of a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate is a collaborative executive who combines strong leadership with deep financial expertise, capital markets knowledge, and the ability to drive business growth. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable developing long-term strategy and rolling up their sleeves when needed. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic financial leadership and partner closely with the executive team on business initiatives and long-term planning. Oversee Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Capital Markets, and other related financial functions. Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management. Develop and execute capital markets strategies while maintaining strong banking and financial relationships. Evaluate financing opportunities and support organizational growth initiatives. Build, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams. Establish financial controls, operational efficiencies, and scalable processes. Deliver executive-level financial analysis and recommendations to support key business decisions. Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve operational and financial performance. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing culture throughout the organization. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer or senior financial executive. Candidates currently serving as a VP of Finance, Chief Accounting Officer, President, or similar executive ready to step into a CFO role are encouraged to apply. CPA strongly preferred. CFA designation is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred. Demonstrated experience leading finance organizations within small to mid-sized companies. Strong capital markets knowledge with experience managing banking and financing relationships. Investment banking experience is highly desirable. Mortgage servicing, lending, financial services, specialty finance, or capital markets industry experience is preferred. Determining compensation for this role at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
