We are seeking a motivated and meticulous Experienced Staff Accountant to support our day‑to‑day financial operations. In this role, you will play an integral part in managing general ledger activities, executing month‑end close procedures, and ensuring financial accuracy. What You’ll Do General Ledger Management: Prepare and post journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. Month‑End / Year‑End Close: Own key segments of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee or assist with bill payments and expense report processing. Account Reconciliations: Perform deep‑dive reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheets, intercompany transactions, and credit cards, proactively resolving any discrepancies. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing accurate financial statements, variance analyses, and ad‑hoc reports for management. Fixed Assets & Prepaid Expenses: Track, calculate, and record depreciation and amortization schedules. Audit & Compliance: Help prepare documentation and schedules for external audits, as well as tax filings. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve internal controls. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. CPA Preferred. Experience: 3‑5 years of progressive corporate accounting experience. Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software like NetSuite. Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP and standard accounting procedures. Core Competencies: Attention to detail and high organizational skills. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments. Motivated to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Comfortable working outside your comfort zone.
