Billing Specialist

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Project Administrator in the Omaha Metropolitan Area. The Construction Biller/Estimator will be responsible for coordinating and managing project billing, documentation, communicating with stakeholders, assisting in project planning and scheduling, and ensuring project compliance with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project billing processes.
• Handle documentation and ensure compliance with project regulations and standards.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders involved in the projects.
• Assist in project planning and scheduling.
• Support the project team in maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Essential Skills

• Experience in billing management, invoicing, and invoice processing.
• Proficiency in data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• At least 2 years of experience in billing, particularly within the construction industry.
• Strong skills in Excel and familiarity with Spectrum ERP.
• Experience in construction project administration, documentation, and coordination.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with BuildOps software is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Excel.
• Experience in the MEP Construction industry (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software.

Work Environment

The position is 100% onsite with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The work environment is career-focused with opportunities for pay raises and competitive bonuses, though title growth may be limited. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $33.00/hr.
