Job Description
TITLE: Registered Nurse - Perinatal

SCHEDULE: 12 hr nights

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Contract Weeks: 13
- Guaranteed Hours: Normal

REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP)
- Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM)
- STABLE Learner (STABLE)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to perinatal patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and newborns.
- Monitor fetal heart patterns and manage care during labor and delivery.
- Educate patients and families about childbirth, neonatal care, and postpartum recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
