Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and functional evaluations to establish baseline physical capabilities and limitations of patients.
• Developing, implementing, and adjusting treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, objectives, and recovery goals.
• Employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilization, myofascial release, and soft tissue manipulation.
• Setting measurable, outcome-driven objectives and regularly monitoring and documenting progress in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Engaging in ongoing evaluations and re-evaluations to adapt treatment strategies as necessary for optimal recovery.
• Providing patient education and training to empower individuals in managing their recovery and future injury prevention.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation to ensure compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.
• Staying current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices through ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role primarily focuses on patients with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and individuals recovering from surgical interventions. Our demographic includes diverse cases, ranging from athletes to seniors requiring rehabilitation post-fracture or surgery. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting; new graduates with relevant clinical rotations in orthopedics may be considered.
• Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, particularly in manual therapy and functional movement assessments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective patient education and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience
