The position will be dual appointed with a primary faculty appointment in the Translational Science and Therapeutics Division (TST) of Fred Hutch and a secondary appointment in the UW Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The successful candidate will have expertise in transplant immunology, computational modeling of T cell clonality, and microbiome science and be engaged in laboratory-based research focused on developing novel interventions for graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and immune reconstitution post-hematopoetic stem cell transplantation (HSCT).
