Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Come join our Skunk Works family today.Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in EngineeringFamiliar with Windows and Linux operating systemsFamiliar with programming languages, software platforms, and environmentsFamiliar with standard system design principles, testing diagnosis, test procedures, data transfers, etc.Understanding of databases, data formats (JASON, XSD, XML, etc.) and transformation techniquesUnderstanding of smart security practices as they relate to all phases of integration & testFamiliar with version control using GitLabGood documentation and communication skillsAbility to work in a fluid, dynamic environmentAbility to continuously learn while influencing integration & test best practicesAble to obtain a DoD Secret clearanceAbility to travel up to 10%Desired SkillsFamiliar with programming languages of Python, Java, C++, etc.Ability to manage integration projects which includes timelines, resources, and stakeholder communicationUnderstanding of APIs and their connectivity to software systemsExperience with comms systems/hardware especially legacy systemsFamiliar with VITA 48 specification for embedded systems (ie. 3UVPX)Familiar with networking of comms systemsFamiliar with Docker containers, Kubernetes, Virtual Machines (VMs), etc.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $ - $ At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
