Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, where you will travel to patients' homes, bringing therapy directly to those who need it most. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess each patient's physical condition, medical history, and specific orthopedic needs.
• Develop and customize treatment plans that integrate therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques tailored to individual patient goals.
• Implement advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation protocols, and patient-centric exercise regimens.
• Educate patients and their families on effective injury prevention strategies, enhancement of daily movements, and ergonomic practices.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making real-time adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to promote a holistic treatment approach.
• Utilize cutting-edge therapeutic equipment in-home care settings to optimize patient recovery and enhance therapy outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult patients recovering from surgeries, those with chronic conditions, and individuals requiring rehabilitation after injuries. Your goal will be to help them regain independence and functionality, focusing on their specific physical therapy needs. As a Physical Therapist, you will encounter a variety of complex cases and be challenged to devise innovative solutions that address their unique situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong background in orthopedic physical therapy.
