Texas Licensed Compliance Director

To support a growing legal team, the full-time Texas Licensed Compliance Director will design, implement, and optimize compliance functions across gaming and prediction market initiatives while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Develop and improve the company's compliance program across various gaming verticals and manage regulatory risk profiles Lead CFTC compliance strategies, including structuring event contracts and ensuring adherence to the Commodity Exchange Act Oversee consumer protection compliance, ensuring all marketing and user acquisition strategies meet FTC guidelines Required qualifications 6+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles within gaming, fintech, or related fields Active Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and an active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction preferred Strong working knowledge of the Commodity Exchange Act, CFTC, and NFA rules Proven experience with FTC guidelines and consumer protection laws in digital environments Experience building compliance programs in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments
