Human Resources (HR) Generalist

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support core people operations for a growing organization in Salt Lake City, Utah. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who can independently manage essential HR processes, maintain accurate documentation, and help create a consistent employee experience across multiple teams. The role combines hands-on operational ownership with day-to-day partnership on payroll, performance management, onboarding, offboarding, and recruiting support.Responsibilities:• Manage the full onboarding and separation process for employees and contractors, including coordination of access, documentation, and cross-functional setup needs.• Process payroll directly within the company’s payroll system for multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate submission before finance review and reconciliation.• Maintain and update internal HR documentation, job expectation materials, and people-related resources so they reflect current roles and organizational needs.• Oversee the performance review program by organizing timelines, refining evaluation tools, scheduling review cycles, and following up with leaders to ensure completion.• Provide recruiting support for open positions by assisting with staffing coordination and partnering with stakeholders throughout the process.• Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day HR administration, employee relations matters, and general people operations support.• Help manage HR systems and records to keep employee information organized, compliant, and accessible for business use.
