We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee core accounting operations and keep financial records accurate, organized, and current. This role is based in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, and is ideal for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities while supporting timely month-end reporting. The successful candidate will bring strong QuickBooks expertise, a solid grasp of full-cycle accounting, and the ability to work independently across multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and supporting documentation is maintained properly.
• Handle incoming and outgoing payments by managing billing, receivables, payables, cash application, collections, and vendor disbursements.
• Record routine and month-end accounting activity, including journal entries, accruals, and other adjustments needed for accurate reporting.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card activity, and key balance sheet accounts to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Lead monthly close activities and prepare financial reports such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements for management review.
• Support payroll-related accounting tasks, including processing assistance and posting payroll entries when needed.
• Track cash activity, help monitor liquidity, and contribute to cash flow reporting and related analysis.
• Maintain fixed asset records, preserve accurate vendor and customer account details, and prepare schedules for tax, audit, and external accounting support.
• Assist with required filings such as sales tax, payroll tax, and information reporting while investigating and resolving accounting variances.
• Recommend practical improvements to bookkeeping workflows and internal accounting controls, while supporting ad hoc financial projects as needed.• At least 3 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping or a closely related accounting position.
• Practical expertise with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, or both in a hands-on bookkeeping environment.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger activity, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
• Experience producing financial statements and other recurring accounting reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for organizing, reviewing, and analyzing financial information.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational ability in a deadline-driven setting.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with leadership and colleagues.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred; comparable practical experience will also be considered.
