Construction LOTO Coordinator Location: Lancaster, TX Duration: 12+ Months (Immediate Start) Type: 1099 Contractor Compensation & Schedule Pay Rate: $49/hr Per Diem: None Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Hours: 50+ per week Why This Opportunity? Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Certification or higher 5+ years of construction safety experience Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience required Ability to pass a background check Preferred Qualifications Data center construction experience Commissioning or startup experience Electrical or mechanical construction experience Experience working with energized systems and energy isolation procedures CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential What You'll Be Doing Administer and oversee the project's Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program Coordinate LOTO activities among multiple subcontractors and trades Ensure compliance with project-specific energy isolation procedures Conduct audits and inspections of LOTO practices and documentation Verify proper lockout procedures prior to work activities Support contractor onboarding and LOTO training initiatives Review energy control procedures and isolation plans Maintain LOTO records, documentation, and compliance reports Partner with project teams to identify and mitigate energy-related hazards Support incident investigations and corrective action implementation Promote a positive safety culture focused on energy isolation and worker protection Technical Knowledge OSHA Construction Standards Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Programs Energy Isolation Procedures Electrical Safety Fundamentals Mechanical Systems Isolation Contractor Safety Management Commissioning & Startup Activities Data Center Construction Operations Hazard Recognition & Risk Assessment Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Development Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis Construction Risk Assessment & Mitigation Compliance Documentation & Auditing What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented safety professional who can effectively coordinate multiple contractors, maintain strict compliance with energy isolation procedures, proactively identify risks, and ensure the safe execution of construction and commissioning activities throughout the project.
