Job Description

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN WINCHESTER, VIRGINIA.

 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Define product and portfolio strategy and align with overall portfolio strategy
• Ensure communication of product strategy internally and externally.
• Translate market trends, customer needs and competitor insights into portfolio strategy and roadmap priorities.
• Prepare portfolio and investment decision proposals for Segment Management.
• Align product strategy with pricing logic and support value-based pricing
• Orchestrate, in the function of a project leader, the alignment across Sales, Product Development, Marketing, Operations and Pricing to drive value creation
• Define, implement, steer and maintain product lifecycle process for respective Business Fields aligned with Product roadmap(launch, ramp-up, phase-out). Drive portfolio optimization, harmonization and complexity reduction. Implement, review and maintain global product management processes to gain further efficiency.
• Consolidate market, customer and competitor insights and translate into product requirements and portfolio decisions. Occasional travel activity necessary.
• Collect KPIs according to product lifecycle process for product performance monitoring

• Define and maintain clear value propositions across the portfolio
• Identify, prioritize and align innovation opportunities with product strategy and roadmap, ensuring integration into portfolio development 

• Ensure clear communication of value propositions and availability of product training content.

Qualifications

 WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Bachelor's degree or higher (university/university of applied sciences Bachelor)
• Professional experience in Product Management, Project Management, Strategy or Business Development in a relevant industry environment
• Experience in leading cross-functional and international projects and managing product or portfolio-related processes

• Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams (disciplinary or functional) and working in matrix organizations

• Experience in international projects and international travel to customers, partners, projects, ect.
