Position Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to join the collegial team at Atrium Health Levine Children’s, working at Jeff Gordon Children’s Center on the campus of Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, North Carolina. Jeff Gordon Children’s Center is conveniently located just 27 miles northeast of Atrium Health Levine Children’s main campus in Charlotte and only 17 miles from the satellite practice in Huntersville, near Lake Norman. Atrium Health Levine Children’s is consistently ranked among the Best Children’s Hospitals in the nation and in 8 subspecialties in 2023-24. Practice Setting Primarily outpatient practice (75%) with inpatient consults (25%) and satellite office coverage 1-2 days per week. Periodic inpatient coverage at Levine Children’s Hospital is available for candidates who prefer the acute care setting. There are opportunities for teaching through the Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program. Call coverage at Jeff Gordon Children’s Center is shared with Dr. Kecha LynShue and Nichole Towns, nurse practitioner. Collaborative Environment The practice is part of a collaborative multispecialty group, including pediatric subspecialists in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Surgery and Urology. Ancillary services include a diabetes educator, registered dietitian, licensed clinical social worker, certified child life specialist, and an experienced nursing team with more than 15 years of pediatric endocrinology experience. The Diabetes Center at Atrium Health Cabarrus provides inpatient and outpatient consultation services.
