Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations for personal injury cases, ensuring accurate assessments and treatment planning.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, including NSAIDs, muscle relaxants, and medicated patches, tailored to individual patient needs.
• Order necessary imaging studies such as MRIs to aid in diagnosis and treatment decision-making.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct remote patient consultations, expanding access to care for individuals who cannot attend in-person visits.
• Manage referrals to physical therapists and specialists in pain management, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Document all patient interactions and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and improve treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in New York State.

• Certification as a Physician Assistant from a nationally recognized certifying body is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
