About the Role

This is a high-ownership, commercially focused role at an early-stage AI-powered talent marketplace, sitting at the intersection of growth, strategy, and operations. You will own the demand side of the marketplace end to end, bringing in the companies that hire through the platform and building the systems that make that growth repeatable. The role is designed with a clear path toward a General Manager position with broader business ownership.

What You'll Do

• Own company acquisition from initial prospecting through onboarding and activation of new clients.

• Build trusted relationships with founders, executives, and talent leaders at high-growth startups.

• Develop a deep understanding of each client's hiring needs and translate them into successful searches on the platform.

• Execute across outbound, referrals, partnerships, events, and content to generate qualified demand.

• Personally run cold calls, write outbound sequences, and conduct highly personalized outreach to learn what works.

• Create and optimize email and LinkedIn campaigns that consistently generate conversations.

• Experiment quickly with new messaging, channels, customer segments, and commercial models.

• Turn successful experiments into measurable, repeatable processes the company can scale.

• Collaborate with talent and product teams to improve matching quality, client experience, and marketplace liquidity.

• Track the full demand funnel, identify bottlenecks, and take ownership of improving conversion at every stage.

What We're Looking For

• 1 to 7 years of experience in a client-facing, commercial, consulting, operations, or growth role, with a hands-on, builder orientation.

• Background in a demanding, fast-paced environment such as a venture-backed startup, management consulting, investment banking, or venture capital.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling outreach.

• Strong relationship-building instincts and the ability to establish credibility with founders and senior leaders.

• Willingness to pick up the phone, initiate conversations, and maintain momentum through rejection.

• Highly analytical and experimental approach to growth, comfortable designing and running structured tests.

• Ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution, including designing a GTM motion and personally sending the first hundred messages.

• Ability to create structure from ambiguity and solve unfamiliar problems without waiting for detailed instructions.

• High ownership, urgency, and genuine ambition to build something from an early stage.

Location

This role is based on-site in San Francisco, CA . Full-time in-person presence is required. Visa sponsorship is not available.
